Cheat-day flavour. Training-day macros. Zero settling.
How We Got Here:
Totes was born out of eight months of daily frustration.
Living an active lifestyle and eating multiple meals a day meant being in a constant battle with snack options. Savory, high-protein food on the go practically didn't exist unless you wanted boiled eggs or unflavored nuts.
We set out to build a savory snack with real athletic macros and aggressive, unapologetic spice.
Getting there meant rejecting industry shortcuts:
The Base: Instead of cheap corn starch, we built our dough matrix around defatted roasted peanut flour, chickpea flour, and prebiotic inulin fibre.
The Hunt: We pitched 11 different snack manufacturers across Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Most said it couldn't be done—extruding heavy pulse-and-nut flours requires a specialized twin-screw extruder, and few had the machinery or the patience.
The Trials: Two months, three failed pilot runs, endless travel, and mountains of scorched puffs later, we dialed in the exact heat, pressure, and seasoning balance.
The result is a puff that shatters traditional category expectations.
The Totes Standard
Every single product we make is held to three non-negotiable rules:
1. Cheat-Day Flavour: Loud, craveable seasoning profiles—like the smoky heat of Blazin’ BBQ and the tart punch of Zingy Achari. We don't do muted "diet" flavours.
2. Training-Day Macros: Real, functional fuel. Every 70g pack delivers 14g of plant-based protein and 6g of prebiotic fibre to keep you full and energized for hours.
3. Clean Process: 100% air-baked using high-pressure hot air. We mist lightly with rice bran oil strictly to hold the spices—zero palm oil, zero trans fat, zero cholesterol.
Beyond the Puff
Our air-baked peanut puffs are just Chapter One.
Totes is growing into a global snacking platform. We’re on a mission to scour culinary traditions from around the world, take iconic, craveable comfort snacks, and strip out the industrial fillers, degraded oils, and empty calories.
Our promise remains absolute: If a snack forces you to compromise between explosive taste and clean performance macros, we won't make it.
Stop settling for the bare minimum. Snacking just got an upgrade.
